Amendment 3: A Common-Sense Choice for Missouri
Dear Editor,
On November 3, Missouri voters will have the opportunity to vote on Amendment 3. I urge voters to vote YES on Amendment 3.
Our state constitution currently allows abortion on demand for all nine months of pregnancy, as well as an open door for harmful sex-change operations on children. Amendment 3 would restore all of our health and safety protections while allowing abortion in cases involving rape, incest, and the life of the mother. In addition, Amendment 3 would establish a prohibition on gender-transition surgeries and treatment for minors
This is about protecting women, children, and unborn babies while putting reasonable safeguards in place. Whatever your political party, Republican, Democrat, or Independent, I believe we can agree that protecting children and vulnerable people should be a shared priority.
Amendment 3 is a common-sense step toward restoring protections that many Missourians believe are important. I encourage every Missouri voter to learn about the amendment and vote YES on November 3.

Let’s Protect Missouri Women, Children and Babies
Dear Editor,
As Missourians, we have always believed that our communities should look out for those who are most vulnerable. We help our neighbors, protect our children, and stand with women and families when they face difficult circumstances.
This November, Missouri voters have an important opportunity to put those values into our state Constitution by voting YES on Amendment 3.
Amendment 3 would restore important protections for unborn children while also providing protections and safeguards for women. According to Missouri Right to Life, the measure includes exceptions addressing medical emergencies, fatal fetal anomalies, rape and incest, and requires accurate medical information and safety standards relating to abortion. It also protects minors from gender-transition surgeries.
This is not simply a political issue. It is about what kind of Missouri we want to be.
We should be a state that protects mothers while recognizing the dignity and value of their unborn children. We should make sure women facing difficult pregnancies receive truthful information, appropriate medical care, and compassionate support—not an abortion industry that profits from vulnerable circumstances.
Here in rural Missouri, we understand the importance of looking after one another. We know that a community is judged by how it treats those who need help the most. Pregnant women and their unborn children deserve that same commitment.
The 2026 election gives each of us a voice. Please learn what Amendment 3 does, talk with your family and neighbors, and when you receive your ballot this November, vote YES on Amendment 3.
Let’s restore respect for women, protect children and babies, and make Missouri a place where every mother and every child is valued.
